Bright and Lovely Daises & Note Card Tin - SCIC#01

The time has finally come!! Today is the first day of the new Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge! (if you missed the post about me being asked to be a part of the design team...click here). Look at that "bright and lovely...just like mom" inspiration photo for this week! It is full of inspiration!

Here is what I came up with for this week! A card and a small tin of note cards that match, all for mom!

My card measures 3 1/4" x 6 1/2". The card base is Tempting Turquoise with a layer of another piece of Tempting Turquoise on top that was sent through the Big Shot with the Stampin' Up! Perfect Polka Dots Impressions folder. I die cut the "M"'s using the Serif Essentials Bigz dies and Whisper White card stock with the Big Shot.

I made the daisies using the Daisies #2 Bigz die and Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Pixie Pink card stocks. I layered two sizes of daisies,"rolled" the petals up and out a bit, sponged it using the appropriate ink color and added a corduroy button to the middle to give it the Gerber daisy look.

Here is a look at the note cards that are inside the small tin. I made them using the Clear Circle Bigz die and the Big Shot. I also embossed them with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions folder.

I had SO much fun with these colors and making theses daises, I could have stuck them on anything!
