Non-Winning Artisan Award- Owl Shower Card

Here is another card I made for the Artisan Award contest. It is a "for your shower" card. (Click on the card to see it bigger!)

Again I pulled these colors (Pink Pirouette, Sahara Sand,Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla) straight from Stampin' Up!'s color coach. It is fun to challenge yourself with colors you wouldn't normally use together!

There is a lot of texture, layers and sponging on this card.

Here are a few of the products used on this card: brads, seam binding ribbon, Two Step Owl punch, Two Step Bird punch, Big Shot, dies, Eyelet border punch, crimper and sponge daubers.

Again, this card was fun to put together and adding all the last details!

Thanks for looking!
if you were at convention you may have seen this on the display boards...it was there!

I just couldn't resist letting you know how much I like your owl card. The colors are soft and pretty and I love the dimensional effect. All the various shapes makes this an interesting card to gaze at and your background stamp is perfect. Aloha! ......my

Amazing card with all the layers!
Could you pass on details of how you created umbrella? I am helping a friend to make invites for her daughters shower and this would be perfect! I am assuming you cut a circle in half then used the border punch for the scallop (did I get that right? lol) what did you use to create the lines on the umbrella?
Thanks so much for your help!
