Happy "Bee" Day!- SCIC22

It's Thursday again and that means is is time for another Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge! This week we have these fun inspiration pictures! Be sure to check out the SCIC blog and all the other projects this week!

Here is what I came up with, a card and a small gift box to go with! As soon as I saw the bee on the cookie in the top left picture, I knew I was going to make him using punch art, so that is what I did!
The colors I used were Whisper White, Early Espresso and So Saffron. I sent the Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and mounted it to the Early Espresso card base. I made my own DSP with the So Saffron card stock and the Circle Circus stamp set (I used the stamp that looks like a honeycomb and just stamped it all over the card stock using the So Saffron ink.) I used the wing from the Extra Large Two Step Bird punch for the bee's body and his wings.

The "happy" and "day" are from the stamp set Fabulous Phrases. Here is a close up so you can see the detail a little better.

Thanks for looking!
I hope I inspired you to play along with us this week at the Stampin' Celebration blog!!

And be sure to check out the Create with Conie and Mary blog...even though we have started our Holiday Mini Edition you can still sign up and not miss any of the projects and tutorials to go with!
