It's Thursday and the Stampin' Celebration blog has a new inspiration challenge for you! We are celebrating fall this week with these fun inspiration photo's! Be sure to check out the other design team members projects this week, they are great!
Here is what I came up with, a country-ish fall card! Nothing like I had pictured in my head when I started, but I really like the way it came out!
I started with the sunflower I made using the Daisy die and the Big Shot with the Summer Sun card stock (retired, but so so perfect for this challenge, so I couldn't resist!) and the Early Espresso 2" circle I ran through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing folder. Then I sponged the polka-dot DSP from the Love Letter kit using the Early Espresso ink and layered in on the Cherry Cobbler card stock that was layered on to another piece of Early Espresso card stock that was stamped using the Woodgrain background stamp and then roughed up a bit. That was then layered onto the Cherry Cobbler 4 1/4" square card base.
I added a few different embellishments to the card including the one of the new Deck the Halls Big Designer Buttons, some Hemp Twine and a few Vintage Trinkets.
The sentiments are from the stamp set Fabulous Phrases and were made into small banners and added to the card using mini glue dots.
Thanks for looking!
I hope I inspired you to play along with us this week!
