Happy Strawberry- SCIC04

It's week four already at the Stampin' Celebration Blog! And look at this inspiration photo, such warm summer-like colors! Make sure to stop by the Stampin' Celebration challenge blog and show us your project inspired by this photo! While you are there you will not want to miss the other projects made by the design team!

Here is what I came up with. (Not really what I was thinking when I started, but it will work!) I used the Squares Texture Plate to texture the Very Vanilla background, the Perfect Polka-Dots embossing folder for the Strawberry and then distressed the edges a bit with the Distressing tool. I also cured the edges of the Very Vanilla background a bit using my bone folder. There are two punches used along the bottom of the card to add more detail. My card measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"

I made the strawberry using the Wide Oval punch and the 5-Petal flower punch.

I loved these colors and will be using them again!

Hope you play along with us!!

Thanks for looking!
