This week I combined
Stacey and
Karen's challenges to make one card. Stacey's
Jewelry Color Inspiratio
n this week was Real Red, Brilliant Blue and Whisper White in honor of Memorial Day. Karen's
Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge was this fun sketch.

Here is what I made for the challenges. The boat is from Boat Loads of Love. I colored it using my Real Red Stampin' write marker. The brads are the jumbo white brads from SU! (I am finding myself adding these to a few cards lately!).

You can see in the close up that I paper pierced the Brilliant Blue card stock and used my big dots texture plate and big shot on the Real Red card stock to finish the card off.
Thanks for looking and I hope you
all had a great Memorial Day!

What a fun color choice! I like that you combined the sketches! The piercing is one of my favorite techniques to add definition to a card. Great Card.
Your details on this boaty card are darling...the piercing, layered brads, and textured bg...perfect! Thanks for playing in the JCI38 and you can't go wrong with one of Karen's sketches:)
