sweet raspberry challenge- Board Fish

This week I decided to combine two challenges into one, Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #11 and Dawn's Raspberry Suite Week 2 Color Challenge (brown, teal, white and celery).

Here is what I came up with. I am not sure if I like it all that much, it looks a little off, but I decided to upload it anyways. I used the new Just Beachy stamp set that is in the Occasions Mini Catalog for the image. The Chocolate Chip card stock base is embossed with the Big Shot and the small Dots die. I used the Scallop Edge punch for the scallop of Taken with Teal paper and the ribbon is from the Sale-A-Bration ribbon pack.

I thought the surf board on top of the car needed a little something else, so I added a fish! I put Crystal Effects on him, so he would look like he was wet and I also put a dripping trail of water flying off of him towards the back of the car...it is hard to see in the picture.

Thanks for looking!

Oh my goodness, this is such a FUN card. I love the wet fish with all the drips following the car - so cute! Don't you just love combo'ing sketch and color challenges - all the decisions are already made, ha! I do that all the time. Great job with both!
