Knee Pads- MDS

MDS Monday has a new challenge this week!  They have a sketch, but also threw in a technique challenge to photo fill grouped boxes.  This is a fun technique to use and very easy too!  Here is my page:

I stuck real close to the sketch and kept the page pretty simple.  I added a few ink splatters to the background cardstock, some staples to hold down the strips of DSP and added a little journaling.  I can't decide, but I think I like the title size. I tend to always think that titles need to be big and bold, and they always seem like they are the hardest thing to fit on the page for me.  So I am taking that as a hint and making them smaller.  This one just kind of fell onto the page, and I think it looks ok.

Make sure you check out what the design team over at MDS Monday has made and also all the other participants this week!

Thanks for stopping by!

Rochelle, I just love seeing your pages and watching her grow up. I am taking notes too (no knee pads!). :) Santa is bringing Laila the inflatable bathtub that we had emailed about. I can't wait to use it as she's splashing all the water out of her little tub now. lol

What an adorable page with an adorable subject! Love your splatters and staples and the opaque-ness of the papers. Thanks for playing along with us at MDS Monday.

What a sweet page! I'm sure my son would react the same to having knee pads ;) The cropped image in the filled photo boxes is darling. I really love the staples you've used as well - Wonderful page all around! Thanks for sharing with us this week at MDS Monday!
