My Pregnancy Journal- MDS Blog Hop

Welcome to the MDS Blog Hop!  This week out theme is Summer Vacation!  I may have stretched the theme a little bit this week, but I really don't have any summer vacation pictures and have been wanting to share this for a while now.

While I was pregnant last SUMMER (that is where I think my project fits this weeks theme! :) ) I kept a journal of my pregnancy in My Digital Studio using an 8 1/2" x 11" album.  I would right in it every few weeks and always answered the same 16 questions and then wrote out the birth story at the end of the journal.

Here are the first few pages...

And here are a few pages from the middle of the journal...

The finished project is a 42 page soft cover album!  I decided to get the soft cover album because I had never seen one from Stampin' Up! before and wanted to see one.....it is so nice and perfect for my journal!

We did not find out if we were having a boy or a girl, so I started out with a very neutral color pallet and kept the entire journal simple and uniform.  You can kind of tell on the individual pages as they get later and later into my pregnancy the baby image from the stamp set All in the Family gets darker and darker representing the baby in my belly getting bigger and bigger! :)

I think this will be great for me to look back at and also for Hannah to look back at when she gets older!   I am SOO happy with the way this project turned out!

Are you ready to hop on over to the next blog? The easiest way to do so is to click on the name right below mine, so that would be Mandy and then from her blog hop on over to Julie's blog and so on until you have hopped a full circle back to here!

What a great idea Rochelle! I wish I'd kept up on a journal with my kids. It's amazing how much you forget - even when things happen that you think you'll always remember. My kids love to hear their birth stories over and over again, so your sweet little girl will cherish this book I'm sure :)

Woah, this is amazing. I can just imagine how special it's going to be when your baby gets older. Please stop by http://sassyshopperreviews.blogspot.com/ and follow back. While you're there, sign up for the blog hop so people can see this idea!

Sometime we can't explain how some special days flew and went away from us.
