Writing- MDS Blog Hop Week 1

I have got some exciting news for you today! A few weeks ago I was invited to be on a all My Digital Studio (MDS) weekly blog hop! What that means is that every week on Friday you can come here and view my project and then hop from my blog to the next to the next and so on! There will be about 10 projects each week using MDS in someway or another and we will all have a common theme for that week! Are you excited? I am...lets get started!

(Click on the page to see it bigger!)

So this week, week 1, our theme was "Back to School". I kind of struggled with this theme as I have no kids.....yet....., let alone kids in school! So I searched my pictures and found this one of my cousins little girl doing some writing. I thought it was cute and fit the theme challenge.

I "stamped" the word 'writing' using the School Book Serif alphabet and used the A to Z stamp for the alphabet background strip. I stuck with clean and simple colors and design for this page so the picture of her writing would stand out.
Are you ready to hop on over to the next blog? The easiest way to do so is to click on the name right below mine, so that would be Mandy and then from her blog hop on over to Amber's blog and so on until you have hopped a full circle back to here!

So pretty, Rochelle! Did you use the digital tape and stretch it out under the ribbons? I'm impressed with the look of the torn edges!!! So glad we'll be designing together weekly you are truly an inspiration to me :)
