Bright Birthday Candles- SCIC46

It's Thursday and that means time for another Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge! This week we are celebrating bright fun springy colors! Look at these inspiration pictures, aren't they fun?

I was drawn to the different colored and height candles in the bottom right inspiration picture and knew it would make a great birthday card.

Here is what I came up with! I just cut various heights and widths of Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait and Regal Rose card stocks and then sponged the edges of the candles.

I did spritz them using the Shimmer Smooch to give them a little shimmer and texture and then glued them onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.
I used a small heart punch cut in half for the flames.

I mounted the main images onto a piece of Melon Mambo card stock and then onto a piece of Whisper White card stock I sent though the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. Then I mounted it onto the Melon Mambo card base.

Here is a close up of the candles. You can see the shimmer better here. The sentiment is from the stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes.

I hope you have a chance to join us over at the Stampin' Celebration blog this week! We would love to see what you come up never know, you may be our next "Party Guest" designer!!

Thanks for looking!

this is really gorgeous! I love the way you layered your candles and smooch spritzed them. Also, the idea of using the heart punch for flames is genius!
