Purple Blossom Flower- SCIC41

It's Thursday and that means time for a new Stampin' Celebration Inspiration! This week we have this collage of inspiration pictures to work with. I will admit that when I saw these pictures I was like "ummm what do I focus on in these pictures?" So I looked at each picture and decided that the top right picture would be what I pulled my inspiration from.

So here is what I came up with! I started with a card base of Basic Black card stock and then added a layer of Basic Black textured card stock on top of that.

I sent a piece of Vellum card stock through the Big Shot with the Pattern 2 texturz plate (I got the idea for using that particular plate from the table cloth in the inspiration picture) and then mounted that on top of a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock to give the green a softer look. I tied a piece of 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon around the green panel.

I made the flower using the Blossoms Petals punch, Pink Pirouette card stock and Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry inks sponged on the card stock. I used a jumbo Whisper White brad in the center of the flower and then sentiment came from the stamp set Fabulous Phrases.

Recipe:
Stamps: Fabulous Phrases
Paper: Basic Black plain and textured, Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Vellum card stock.
Ink: Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black
Accessories: Big Shot, Prefect Details texturz plates,
1/8" Basic Black Taffeta ribbon, 5/16" jumbo brads.

Thanks for looking!
