Simply Girly- SCIC20

It's Thursday and that means time for another Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge! This week we have these very girly inspiration photos with pink, black and white in them. And we happen to be celebrating one of the design teams members birthday's this week...Happy Birthday Candace! Be sure to check out the other design team members creations too over on the Stampin' Celebration blog!

Here is what I came up with! I knew it was going to be a clean lined card with minimal detail when I saw the inspiration photos. The colors I used were Pink Pirouette, Basic Black and Whisper White. I sent the Pink Pirouette through the Big Shot with the Pattern 2 Texturz Plate that looks like the print on the purse in the inspiration photo. Then I attatched a strip of Glossy White card stock to the pink and adhered it to the Whisper White card base that has a layer of Vellum on it. (This card is hard to explain from a picture...if you could see it in person, you would get it! It was also hard to get a good picture of it with all the white!) The sentiment is from the stamp set Curly Cute.

I added Black Satin ribbon and a few "diamonds" to the card to bling it up and it was done!

In this picture you can kind of see the Glossy White card stock being glossy.

Thanks for looking and Happy Birthday Candace!
I hope I inspired you to play along with us this week!

P.S. Be sure to check back here frequently in the next few days.....I have one free subscription to the Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition to give away!! And be sure to check out the Create with Connie and Mary blog...the preview period and early bird special is going on now!
