I had an idea a few months back thinking it would be a great idea to make a Big Shot Book. A Big Shot Book is a book that has one die cut of each die that SU! sells so you can see the "real life" size of the die before you order it. I needed some help getting all of the dies, so I decided to make it an organized swap at SU!'s annual convention! So with the help of some fellow demonstrators, I now have a completed Big Shot Book and here it is!
I used a 6x6 Linen Album from SU! as well as the 6x6 page protectors to make my book. The title on the front is letters using fabric and the Timeless Type Alphabet. All the dies are labeled with the kind of die it is, what the name of the die is and also the color of card stock that was used to die cut the die.
I organized the book into categories depending on the type of dies it was ie. Sizzlits, Bigz, Original..... This is a picture of the tabs I made for each category.
Here is a sample page of one of the categories. I typed up a short blurb about what the die does ie. cuts through chipboard, fabric, paper...
This picture shows you how I put the Sizzlits Decorative strips in my 6x6 book. I just cut them in half and they fit perfectly!
Here is a page showing that the pages are see through on the dies that I think would be useful to use it as a template (just like the punch template that demo's can buy as a tool).
This shows you what an Embossing folder looks like in the book.
Here is what it looks like shut. It is completely full! I wasn't sure if all the dies were going to fit in the album, but they did...barely!
Thanks for looking!
and for those of you that were in the swap...thanks for helping me create my book!

Especially your friend Lou, who busted her lazy arse to help make this dream become a reality. Sorry i didn't mention her sooner! She's the bestest ever.
Rochelle (as if this is NOT written by Lou herself!!)
Nice job. I have a 8 1/2 x 11" binder but I really like this size better. But how do you display the XL Bigz Dies? DO you just cut them in half like you did the strips?
Lynn, I do not have the XL dies in my book, but I do suppose that you could cut them up and put them in a 6x6. Thanks!
Love this! By the time I noticed that you were organizing a swap, it was already full. GREAT idea!
