Hapy 4th!- cQc#39 and CCMC105

Here is another challenge that I love doing but have not had time to do in a while.....ColourQ! This week Arielle has this super cute patriotic pin cushion as the inspiration photo. The colors she picked this week are Bravo Burgundy, Real Red, Brocade Blue, Night of Navy and Whisper White. I just found a new (for me) challenge blog, Create with Connie and Mary. Their challenge this week is a The 4th of July theme challenge...perfect for Arielle's colors!

Here is what I came up with, a simple Happy 4th card! I started with a Whisper White card base and then used the small star punch to punch out small textured Whisper White stars and glued them on to the Whisper White card base. I then cut small strips of the Brocade Blue, Bravo Burgundy, Real Red and Night of Navy card stocks, lined them up and glued them to a Night of Navy background.

Then I die cut the letters and number using my Big Shot and the Timeless Type and Naturally Serif Alphabets and placed them on the striped background.

Here is a close up of the stars on the Whisper White card base...can you see them?

Thanks for looking!
Have a happy and safe weekend!
