Miss Owl in ribbon

Here is a simple card I made just for fun. It actually came about by just playing with some stamping stuff.

The little owl is from the stamp set Owl Together Now. I colored her in and then cut her out. I then decided she needed something to sit on, so I tied a piece of 1/4" Basic Black Grosgrain ribbon around the Basic Black card stock and then tied little tid-bits of colorful ribbon on it where Miss Owl would sit.

I thought the saying on the card ("You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough") fit the image well, as though it looks like she is "doing it right"!
