Bright Fun Flowers- cQc#21

Arielle over at ColourQ has some fun bright colors this week for her ColourQ challenge #21. They are Melon Mambo, Regal Rose, Apricot Appeal, Green Galore and a neutral color (I used Whisper White.) I saw these colors and wanted to make something fun and bright, so I did! You can too, by making a card using these colors and uploading it to her blog here!

I started off with a piece of textured Apricot Appeal card stock on the Whisper White card base. I made the flowers by punching out the circles in the appropriate colors using the 1 3/4", 1 3/8" and 1" circle punches. I snipped around each circle using my scissors and then used my bone folder to break down the fibers of the card stock and to curl the flowers a bit. I sponged the edges of the flowers a little to give them more dimension.

I made the Green Galore leafs by using the wing from the new Extra Large Two-Step Bird punch. I added a few small buttons and a 5/8" ribbon bow around the card to finish it off!

I loved working with theses colors, so different, but so fun.

Thanks for looking!

What a fun card. The flowers are great. I look forward to trying them myself.
