Blush Butterfly- cQc#19 & SASC41

Arielle over at Colour Q has another challenge this week. The colors are Regal Rose, Blush Blossom, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip and White. Yes, you did read Blush Blossom. Blush Blossom is a hard color for me to work with. I usually only use it for skin tone things I make...which is not very often! So i t was a challenge for me to use it, but I did! I also combined this color challenge with the Stampin Addicts Sketch Challenge this week.

Here is my card. I like the way it came out...even with Blush Blossom! The squares are 1 3/8" and then they are stamped with a sneak peak stamp set called Elements of Style using Versa Mark. The sentiment (Life is a matter of moments) is also is the sneak peak stamp set and was stamped using Chocolate Chip ink.

The butterfly was die cut using my Big Shot and the Beautiful Butterflies dies. It is hard to see in the picture, but I did spray the Blush Blossom butterfly with a little bit of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and Alcohol mix to give it a little more interest.

Thanks for looking!
