Joy, Snow and Noel Blocks

Now that Christmas is less than a month away, I figured I better start showing a few Christmas things!

Here is a set of the Decor Element Blocks that I made. They are in the Holiday Mini catalog and are so fun to make! I used the Holiday Mix Decor Elements in Real Red and Chocolate, also in the Holiday Mini. My blocks will spell "Joy", "Snow" or "Noel" depending on how they are arranged.

My color scheme for these blocks was Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Whisper White. I used various DSP's, card stocks, ribbon and embellishments to make them. What a fun project to make a so easily adaptable to other holiday or events as well!

Western Wallet

Here is a Photo Wallet I made for one of my hostesses recently. I used a western theme for it because I knew she would like it. It was perfect for her because she is always showing people pictures.

Here is what it looks like when it is open. I used Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla and Sage Shadow as the colors. The stamp set I used was Wanted.

Here is a close up of the front of the wallet. I added a Star designer brad to finish it off.

Falling Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving!

Here is a card we made recently at my stamping club. What a great Thanksgiving card. I love the Falling Leaves stamp that is in the catalog. The leaf images are so fun!

The colors in the card are Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, So Saffron and Really Rust. What great colors for a fall card.

Thanks to JosannaP over at Splitcoast for the wonderful inspiration and layout of this card!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Fall Acorn Bag

Here is a simple and fun bag made using the Big Shot with the Top Notes die and some Autumn Traditions DSP. The acorn stamp is from the set in the Holiday Mini called Autumn Splendor. I wrapped a few chocolate's in coordinating DSP and and called it good!

What a fun bag to make for any occasion!

Modern Quilt

Here is a quilt card I made recently! I just love how the quilt cards look. I used the Thoroughly Modern DSP and the Top Notes die with the Big Shot.

I hand drew the stitching on with a black Stampin' Write marker. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. I finished the quilt off by tying Basic Black 5/8" grosgrain ribbon around it. Pretty simple today!

Bug Tac Toe- PPA15

I have been looking at the Pals Paper Arts blog for a while now and decided this week to join in on the challenge!

This week the colors are Ruby Red, Taken with Teal and Basic Gray. I decided to make a box of treats and a travel game. The box of treats was made using the Box #2 die and the Big Shot and then stamped in this weeks colors using the Bugs and Kisses stamp set. The travel game is Tic Tac Toe.

All the playing pieces are magnetic, so they will not fall off all the playing board! It is a perfect game for on the go and fits nicely into a small bag or purse!

Bright Daisy's- CCCCAct9

This week Stacey was inspired by this photo from Country Living. The Stampin' Up! colors in the photo are Pink Passion, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Real Red and Basic Black. These are different colors for me, but that is why it is called a challenge right?

Here is the card I made. Pretty clean, simple and straight forward this week. I used the daisy die cuts and my Big Shot to make the flowers, added a jumbo white brad to the middle and tied them together with some Basic Black 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon.

Here is a close up of the sentiment. I don't know what set this really came from, but it is an old Stampin' Up! stamp.
