I had a little time to create a card, besides the ones that will be going to convention with me, today and decided to combine two challenges. I combined Stacey's Jewelery Color Inspiration #46 and the SoShelli.com Creative Challenge. The colors for Stacey's challenge were Not Quite Navy, Ruby Red, Creamy Caramel and Very Vanilla and Shelli's challenge was to create a Birthday card (you can never have enough Birthday cards on hand)!
Here is what I came up with. I stamped the cherry blossom stamp from the Embrace Life stamp set on Water Color paper in Creamy Caramel ink. Then I used my Aqua painter and painted the flowers with Ruby Red and Not Quite Navy ink. I then used a toothbrush with watered down Creamy Carmel ink and "spattered" the image a bit. The "Happy Birthday" is from the Fundamental Phrases stamp set.
Here is a closer look at the tooth brush "spattering" on the Water Color paper.
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

Love the weathered look of your panels and tag! This is a fabulous take with the JCI46 colors and a great submission for Shelli's challenge! Thanks for playing the JCI46...can't wait to share the new & improved Curtain Call! Hey, are you going to Convention?
This is gorgeous! Love the spattered look--I'll have to try that sometime!
That is such a pretty card Rochelle! I like it!
