May's $5 Friday- Flower Frenzy

Here are the two flower-y projects that my $5 Friday group made this month!

The first one is this flower pot card. I saw Rose's Terra Cotta Flower Pot card on Splitcoast and loved it so much I knew I had to CASE it. I like how she put two different flowers together and the colors just pop off the page. The colors are Apricot Appeal, Rose Red, Old Olive and Really Rust. The ribbon is 5/8" Chocolate Chip. The center of the flowers are the 5/16" Whisper White brads.
The flowers were made using the Big Shot Daisy's #2 die layered on top of the Flower Layers die. The leaves are from the Bird's and Blooms Sizzlits die.

Here is what the card looks like when it is "open".

Here is the other card we made. You may recognize this card from an earlier post and you should, because it is what I made for Stacey's Jewelery Color Inspiration Challenge and Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge a few weeks ago.

The colors are Going Grey, Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery and Whisper White. The DSP is from the Urban Oasis paper pack. The grey ribbon I died my self using the re-inker and water method.

Thanks for looking!

Ok, love the flower pot card! What a neat idea. Wish I could come to the $5 Friday night!
