Birthday Girl Gold Fish- kwerner color inspiration #52

I saw Kristina's Color Inspiration this week and liked the colors and had time, so I decided to make a card. The colors are Baja/aqua, saffron, mustard, sand and white. I needed to make a birthday card for my husband's little cousin who is going to be 5, so I used this challenge to get it done (I know she will like this card).

I saw these colors and thought of a gold fish in the water, so I went with it and here is what I came up with.
This little girl gold fish is off to her birthday party. I made her using punches and used some ink to sponge around her to give her some more depth. The "party" is a white rub on. I used only the colors in the challenge.

In this close up you can see I used the Big Shot and the Flourish texture plate to give the Baja Breeze card stock some texture. The pebbles are made using the 3/4" and the 1/2" circle punches and again sponged to give them more depth.

I figured I better show you where she is going, so here is the inside of the card. A present is

waiting for her on a table and a Happy Birthday banner is hung all in celebration of her!

The banner was stamped in Versa Mark using the Birthday Wish stamp, from the Under $10 page, and then embossed with white embossing powder. I again used the Flourish texture plate and the Big Shot to give the Baja Breeze card stock some texture.

Thanks for looking and have a great week!
