So I decided to give it a try.Her colors this week were Real Red, Bashful Blue, Barely Banana and Whisper White. As soon as I saw these colors I thought of a sail boat, so that is what I did.
Here is my sail boat! I think it came out kind of cute. When I added the "boy" stamp from Everything Baby (retired), it made me think of a baby card, but I don't think it is necessarily just a baby card, it could be used for any young boy!
I used my Big Shot and a few embossing folders (Large Dots and Squares) to give the Bashful Blue card stock some texture. I sewed around all the edges of the card with my sewing machine as well as the sail and the boat.
I finished off the card by adding a few buttons in the same color theme to the bottom right of the card.
I had fun with this color inspiration, so I think I am going to do it again next week!
