sweet sunday sketch challenge #3

I decided to to Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge again this week. I really like the sketches she has and they are so fun to do! Here was the sketch for this week.

And here is the card that I made. I used my new Owl Together Now stamp set and some retired Hawaii Papaya DSP(Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Whsiper White and Chocolate Chip.)

I used the new Circle Scissor Plus from SU (I will need some more practice and will need to figure out the tricks to using this new thing) to cut out the circles. It is hard to see in the picture, but I embossed the Kiwi Kiss paper with the new Stampin' Up! Backgrounds 1 texturz plates (I used the bigger dots plate).

This picture shows the cute little owls "googly" eyes. I used an aqua pen to paint the owl and the branch.

Thanks for looking and have a great rest of the week!
