Pumpkin Butterfly Sympathy- CCCCAct7

This week Stacey has another great color challenge. She was inspired by this photo at the Country Living website. The Stampin' Up! colors in the photo are Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla and Kraft. As I was thinking of what I was going to do with the colors I thought what great fall colors, but I don't want to make any more fall cards, so I went over to Splitcoast and looked at the Clean and Simple (CAS) challenge for this week, it was to make a sympathy card, so that is what I did.

Here is my card. Very CAS. I used the stamp set Inspired by Nature for the Old Olive grass and the Pumpkin Pie butterfly came from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and were both stamped on Very Vanilla card stock. I then matted the stamped panel onto Very Vanilla card stock for a more finished look.

The sentiment "with sympathy" came from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. I stamped the Kraft card base with the retired Canvas background stamp in Kraft ink stamped off once, to give it a softer look. I finished off the card by paper piercing around the main image.

Here is the close up of the sentiment, the background and the paper piercing.

Thanks for looking!

This is really beautiful! CAS cards are much harder than one would think... this turned out perfect!
